Journeyman

We are all sojourners in the passage of time - to and fro, is to be, now is, has passed through... All in constant motion; in consonance or diametrically opposed we wade through the waters of life. In all that we do let us keep in mind that no matter how dark or bright the hues of our lives, we are still all **journeymen working our way through our own puzzles, tasks and battles. And as we pass through let us reserve our energies for that which will propel us forward rather than that which will pull us back. As with the moving escalator, as long as we are moving in sync and in the same direction that the operator has set, we progress. But to try to walk against the tide or to look back will most definitely not result in forward motion and may result in disaster. We are all **journeymen and onward and relentlessly we must push until we get to the end of the moving walkway. And that phrase echoes: “please watch your steps; you are approaching the end of the moving walkway”. Let us be mindful how we walk... Peace.

** A journeyman is a skilled worker who has successfully completed an official apprenticeship qualification in a building trade or craft. They are considered competent and authorized to work in that field as a fully qualified employee.
