Dry Can Bones Live, But May Come Alive With Great Noise.

Hello everyone, I hope your weekend has been phenomenal!
This is a re-post of an article I wrote about 2 years ago... Please take the time to watch this phenomenal video and to read this article and I pray that you will be richly blessed... These dry bones WILL live again!!!!

I was sitting in church one morning, and my mind being one to meander from time to time, wandered right over to Ezekiel chapter 37... Now what made me think about this particular chapter? (Even though my mind IS prone to wandering and has to be regularly reined in). It was a conversation I had with a beautiful friend of mine, who although has been through a lot over the past year has maintained her joy, her infectious spirit, and her smile…
We were talking about a situation she had prayed about, which, instead of her seeing an immediate turnaround in the situation, seemed to result in things going somewhat awry. The events that followed eventually led to a favorable ending, but it was through much prayer, fasting and holding on to God's promises.
As I thought about our conversation, I believe the Spirit dropped something into my heart.
He said:
"When a seemingly noisy and chaotic series of events follows a season of prayer and prophesying, the brouhaha is not necessarily the work of the devil. Neither is it (although may very well be the case), always a test of your spiritual mettle. What you perceive as noise may actually be the sound of the power of my might, moving things around, and bringing parts together. Mobilizing and executing the desires of your heart. Of me, creating universally animated unified wholeness, from a previously dead, dismal, and hopelessly disjointed situation."
He said to me "I led Ezekiel into a Valley of dry bones, dead bones. What he saw was a horrific sight to behold! A sight so terrible that when I, the Lord God Almighty asked Ezekiel if the dry bones could live, he said "only you know Lord!"" The Lord said, "I then told him to prophesy to the bones, and you know what happened afterward..."
The Bible stated that as Ezekiel spoke, suddenly there was a rattling noise all across the Valley and as he watched, bone began to move towards bone, attaching themselves as parts of whole skeletons. He watched, and the process continued until skin covered the entire bodies, over muscle, over bone, but still no breath was in them. The Lord then said to him "prophesy to the winds! Speak breath into these dead bodies so that they may live again." So, Ezekiel spoke the message, and the Bible records that they came to life-A formidable army!! This vision that Ezekiel saw was representative of what God wanted to do amongst his people that is, to raise them up from a place of deadness into life!
Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.”’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Using the account above allegorically, we may (by the help of The Spirit) deduce that when things seem to take a turn for the worse, rather than the better when we pray, instead of seeing it as a setback, or the devil waging war, or believing that it's an obstacle we have to surmount by faith, we may actually need to see it as God working out His will and purpose!
It may actually be the magnificent and mighty power of the Spirit working to change my situation.
This is borne out by Scripture:
1. Paul and Silas prayed, and the prison where they were kept shook so much so, that their chains fell off.
Acts 16:25-26
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
2. On the day of Pentecost, the Bible records that there came a sound as of a rushing, mighty wind that filled the upper room just before the disciples got baptized by the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in diverse tongues.
Acts 2:2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
These accounts corroborated what I felt the Spirit was ministering to me. He said to me, when things like this happen after a period of prayer and prophesying, do not be silent! What to do? Keep listening for what He wants you to say, keep saying what He tells you to say, keep prophesying, keep declaring and don't give up hope. And as Ezekiel saw a mighty, living Army raised up like a Phoenix from deadness and decay, you will see the answers to your prayers manifested right before your eyes.
Interestingly, this spoke to me on an extremely deep level as I am currently going through a similarly "chaotic" situation. I now know that instead (as I previously did) of seeing this as the end of the beginning, I now see it as the beginning from the end! So instead of a wail, I will let out a victorious shout! Instead of a moan, will groan in the spirit, to birth the desire of my heart, and instead of being quietly dismayed I WILL PROPHESY!!!
You all have a fab week, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost!
With love from,
"Me" to you.
PS IF YOU TRY TO STOP THE BONES FROM MOVING, THE GREAT ARMY WILL NOT BE FORMED!

How Can These Things Be?

All throughout this year (especially the latter part) I read numerous praise reports, from my friends and family. While I was happy for them and appreciated what God had done and was doing in their lives, I really could not, and for some months now had not been able to echo those praise reports… Why? You would ask me - Has the Lord not been good to you? And I would have to and would still answer with a resounding YES!!! I cannot but say that God has been good to me. But when one faces situations where disappointment has visited not only once or twice, but over and over again, it takes the GRACE of God to stand… Today however, as I sat in church, The Holy Spirit ministered to my heart and said to me - "Mary the mother of Jesus bore him outside of natural process", I know that we all know this (or I sure hope we do :-)). So it is nothing for God to make something out of NOTHING. But even though Mary was called favored probably because she was, She still asked the question “How shall these things be? Seeing that…” So the penny dropped again that the reason why I could not FEEL thankful despite the fact that I was (in my heart... Really :-)), was because I kept pondering on how the things I had been trusting God for, would ‘be’, seeing all the 'THINGS' in my situation spoke to the

The Kingdom of God... Believe me this is worth the read!

Time is that which measures the cadence of finite life as we know it; Eternal life, however, liberates one from the confines of time and elevates us into the realm of The Great I am!

In life (as I have come to learn and are learning),  we must respect time as it is the means by which we connect with people, events and appointments, but as I also have come to realize God’s Kingdom is not ruled by time, God’s Kingdom rules time! And whoever is in the Kingdom of God, whoever has been ‘born-again’ must realize what he or she has been born into. This article is not for the one who wants to play ‘church’; it is for those who are actively seeking The Kingdom of God! I actually fought against writing this article, because this to many, may seem far out, but then again, “Not my will, but yours be done”.

My quest to understand and apprehend The Kingdom of God, is an ongoing one, and it stemmed from this one scripture -

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I realized that Jesus was saying that this is the 'one thing' I should seek… But where is this Kingdom? I have run with the best of them, seeking God in places, in meetings, and through people, but in all those endeavors, NEVER did I even get a glimpse of the Kingdom of God was truly about…, And no wonder… Let’s take a look at scripture:

Look at ME!

Look at ME!
Why don’t you really look at me?
Do you not see me?
See ME?
Do you not SEE?

I am here right, front, left and center…
Yet you do not SEE…
ME!
I am here, not only my bosom,
Not only to blossom,
Not locks and flocks,
Frocks and color blocks
But to as HE said, “BE!”
And I WILL!

I will be there for you,
Beside you, behind you.
I will never seek to lead,
For out of you, you came to seed
For this cause you left and clave,
That though two, would become one…

Look at ME!
Why really look at me?
Because when you really do you will see,
That I am of you, and you are of me…
Or so you said, the moment we met?
As you look, what do you now see?
The hurt, the pain,
The girth or the gain…

Look at ME!
Why don’t you really look at me?
And maybe you'll see the plea in my eyes
That we let go of the past and rise
For even after four stinking days,
Still His voice caused that which was dead to be raised…

So LOOK at ME!
Please look at me.
So we can once again say
“LET US”
No longer blinded, Clay made clear…

Seasons and Times.

Seasons and times: they teach us what the Word tells us, that  there is a time for everything.

We often look at spring as the beginning and winter as the end of the seasons, but the lining up of the seasons with creation and nature demonstrates that winter actually represents the beginning, a time of hibernation and incubation when everything appears cold, dreary, and desolate--sometimes dismally vacuous. But underneath the barrenness, in actuality, there is life! Like a pregnancy waiting to be birthed, beneath the surface, beneath the freeze, winter is active. When it looks like nothing is happening, it is in actuality the time when the greatest ground in morphogenesis is covered.

The life cycle of the butterfly illustrates this concept beautifully as it shows us that the most pivotal, developmental stages of the egg and most of the pupal stage are hidden and accomplished within dark and cramped confines. During these stages, changes are occurring and processes are being refined. These processes are so critical to the final emergence of the mature butterfly, that to attempt to shorten or externally facilitate the timeline of the process--either through sympathy, desperation, impatience, or any other preemptive emotional stimuli or actions--may result in the termination and abortion of the life that is being incubated.

The next season is spring. Spring may be likened to the emerging of the chrysalis, the great thaw, the “coming out.” It’s unarguably the most exciting of all the seasons, a time of release from confinement or custody, a time to unveil that which has been ensconced; it is a flowering. Ultimately, spring is the most awe- inspiring part of the seasons of life as this is the time when the most dramatic visible changes occur, a sharp divide between apparent barrenness and fruitfulness.

Then comes summer: the Butterfly stage. This is a time of blooming, vividness, and abundance. Truly, summer’s bounty is the cornucopia of life. The thesaurus offers the following synonyms for

I Am a Woman

I am a woman. Steeped in femininity,
The princess, the pride and joy,
Mark of my Creator’s divinity.
I am a woman.
Strong and sturdy in mind,
Soft and gentle in love,
A succor, my very own’s delight.

I am a woman.
The beauty of my mothers Through me shine.
In the integrity of my fathers,
I walk, indomitably tall.

I am a woman,
Indefinable, intriguingly complex,
My robe, my covering,
My glory, my wealth,
Draped around my elegant form.

Times have changed;
History’s been made,
But neither pathos nor tragedy,
Poverty or wealth,
Oppression to emancipation
Can and will ever alter the fact

That. . .
I AM A WOMAN.

com·plex·i·ty

It's simple really... We are complexities of complexly complex complexes complete in complexness... A complex continuum of complexity elegantly created to display the simplicity in complicacy, by our most stunning God!  All distinct and sometimes seemingly disconnected  we are, but in reality, intricately and interconnectedly connected... Selah.

com·plex·i·ty
kəmˈpleksədē/

noun: complexity

The state or quality of being intricate or complicated.

Complexity is generally used to characterize something with many parts where those parts interact with each other in multiple ways.

 Psalm 139:13-16

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

 Psalm 8:3-8

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,[a]
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet.

COMPLEX AND I SAY IT AGAIN...

Wayne Brady Opens Up About His Depression: 'I Had a Complete Breakdown'

Depression is a yawning chasm that threatens to swallow every soul that does not, will not, cannot, or has not found its rest in God...

What is depression? How does one battle depression? How does one deal with it? Many try to hide it with humor... The picture of a clown laughing with a painted on 'sad' face is not so farfetched anymore just look around you...

Religious people deny its existence; some wear it proudly like a banner, others wallow in its murky waters...

The greatest of men and women in history have battled it. King David in the bible spoke freely of it and dedicated 2 psalms - 42 and 43, (out of many such) to expressing the brokenness of his heart...

Depression is a yawning chasm that threatens to swallow every soul that does not, will not, cannot, or has not found its rest in God...

Is it a simple entity? Noooo it is the very enemy of the living soul that threatens to silence the very breath that animates it. It is the voice of hopelessness that continually taunts, continually badgers and will not let go...

Some try to silence that voice by escaping into oblivion through drugs, alcohol, sex and anything that will either deaden or lift up the soul... But these are only temporary fixes that paradoxically worsens that person's state, because when the palliation wears off, the awakening is that much more horrific...

BUT as much as depression rears it its head, when we come 'naked and not ashamed' before The Living God and pour out our hearts before HIM, we are able to receive the infusion of HOPE - The Prince of Peace Himself, who

H - Holds
O - Our
P - Place in His
E - Eternal love...

No one can save a person from the clutches depression. All that can be done at it's best is to palliate and as Wayne says here, until we come to the end of ourselves and we breakdown and DIE before The Living God, LIFE cannot come...

BUT then again we can have compassion, we can pray and we can put our arms around one another and cry out to God together...

A good friend of mine once said... "No matter what you do find someone to 'do' life with" The greatest person I know that I can 'do life' with is the author of life Himself and I TELL YOU... HE is the only One who has been able, and is able to lift up the soul that is cast down, He does not condemn, He does not rebuff, He does not break the bruised, nor snuff out the dying... Snot and contorted faces do not intimidate him because He only sees that beauty that He has created in and through us and when we come to him... He and only He can speak the peace that can restore even the most battered of soul...

"You gotta to hold on"

Sometimes it’s hard
When you can’t see the end in sight
But you keep on telling yourself
"You gotta to hold on"

Sometimes …
You have all the answers
Still nothing seems to add up
You gotta keep telling yourself
"You’ve got to hold on"

When friends are gone,
And silence reigns
The rustle of the leaves
The whisper of the wind
Softly echoes the same refrain
"Child you gotta to hold on""

By the skin of your teeth,
By the seat of your pants
Through stormy gale,
And fiery furnace

I am with you... I promised to never leave
So yes! "You gotta to hold on"

‘Cos when all’s said and done
The curtain’s been drawn
When the night has passed
And the tears have dried
I promise you this my child
I promise you that you will look back
Down the passage of time
And the words, the encore
That will resonate in your heart:

Thank God, the One who said to my soul
Don’t give up; don’t give in;
"You gotta to hold on"

If you are holding on, don’t give up!

If you are hoping, don’t give up hope!

If you are believing, don’t give up believing!

For your weeping may endure for a night

But in the morning, joy will come,

Again I say, ‘You’ve got to hold on…’

Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

The Queen of Hearts

Allow me to share with you, a poem that I wrote about one who lives her life on her own terms but leaves in her wake a trail of brokenness, and the broken. It expounds on how she came to be the way she was and culminates with her finding herself in another greater than her. The poem with few words attempts to chronicle her journey from the one who hurts because she herself has been hurt, to the one who is healed by he to whom she lashes out to through her pain... Immerse yourself.

The Queen of Hearts

Her paths are lined with broken pieces,
Dashed through disappointments
Disdained and decimated
Dastardly determined to destroy
Through deliberately designed
Deadly distortions

Who is she? SHE is The Queen of Hearts

Her beginning not so brutal
Born beautiful, beatifically blessed
But, beaten and blighted,
Bruised by brazen bullets
Bounteous became barren, and barren bare
Bearing nothing, boldly breaking

Who is she? Who is she? SHE is The Queen of Hearts

Clashing catharsis, Cleansing collision,
Colliding compassion, compulsive coercion,
Celestial Clarion The Christ, calling
Charis clamoring, creating covenanting
Chiasms crossed over
Chariot over cobblestoned conscience…

Who is He? Who IS He… HE IS The Heart - King of the Queen… Selah

Principearls - Let There Be Light!

Let There Be Light!

As the speed of light is approached time slows down. When the threshold of light is breached by speed, time gets swallowed up by eternity resulting in IMMEDIATE access to the past, present and future, without end. This phenomenon is exactly what happened to the disciples on the mount of transfiguration - The saw the light of the world revealed in His glory and they stepped out of time and right into eternity! No wonder why Peter wanted to stay there and no wonder also that Jesus warned them not to tell any man what they had seen, until The Holy Ghost had come!
Matthew 17:1-4
Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
This breaching of the membrane is not only of time, but also of space, and matter. This is why Moses and Elijah became VISIBLE to Peter, James and John. They had been allowed to breach time for a space of time, and experienced eternity in the flesh - That my friend is The Kingdom of God…
That makes the scripture that says for us to seek first The Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto us, make sense indeed.

God is no respecter of persons... If Enoch, Elijah, Jacob, Peter, James, John, Paul, and Peter could get to this place of eternal being IN THE FLESH and LIVE, so can we! The whole of creation is waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God!

Romans 8:19
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

However, there are certain requirements for one to enter into eternal Kingdom living

One must enter into God's rest - Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother...

One must follow Jesus to a place of separation - ... led them up on a high mountain by themselves...

The Revelator - The Holy Spirit now transforms The Word to reveal Jesus in His glory... And He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

This is the path that He invites us to walk with Him - Glory to His name forever!

The Time Is Come

The Lord God of heaven is preparing to do something on the earth that has never before been seen... He is starting a move of The Spirit that is going to usher in one of the greatest eras in The Church. The scripture that comes to mind at this time is that which says in

◄ Isaiah 40:5 ►

... And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." and

◄ Isaiah 60: 1-3 ►, which says:

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

The Lord is calling His people to arise! He is calling His people to Himself - Young, old, male, female, Jew and Gentile, children, babe in arms, all that speak and do not speak, all that hear and those that have not heard. His move will come through NEW children, birthed into the family of God by The Spirit himself. For the whole of creation is groaning for relief. It is groaning, awaiting the manifestation of The Sons of God. Only the hungry and thirsty shall be filled, only the seekers shall find and only the ones who knock shall the door be opened unto. I speak not so that you will read.
I write so that you will hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Read this all you who yearn and

Hope is the womb that a legacy is born out of...

David, David. . . A Man Like David

David, David, David: a great man, a flawed man, a shepherd, a king, a lover, a father, a priest, a warrior, a repentant man, a dynasty’s beginning, a sinner, a murderer, a liar, an adulterer, a musician, a poet, a friend, a leader, a visionary, a worshipper, an unashamed chaser after God, a mentor, a brother.

Yes, yes, and yes, he was all these things and more. Many have thought and said, “How can God love such a man? For this man was so imperfect, with so many shortcomings. Yet, this man, this man, God loved and chose to establish His throne forever. What qualifies him so to be so special?”
You see, yes, he sinned and was a sinner; he messed up royally (pardon the pun). But this man David--as many as his sins were--when he did repent, he did so with sorrow, godly sorrow. He then never looked back to his sin; rather, he turned to God and embraced Him boldly and fully and without shame, just as if he had never sinned!

What awesome trust in God's forgiving grace and unending love. How can a father not love such a son who implicitly trusts in his sonship and who honors his father in that he never committed the same sin twice, never? And he never looked back, never. And once forgiven, he never cowered, never hid himself from God, never. Rather, he laid himself bare and trusted Him who had said, to do what He said.
What have you done? Have you sinned, lied, stolen, cheated, hurt, or abused another? Call upon God, the Father; repent and receive His love. Then, don't look back; hold your head up high and never let anyone or anything convince you that you are anything less than loved--absolutely, totally, crazily, as only God can.

I've been there and done that too, but no more--no more doubt. I am the redeemed, the beloved, the covered, the forgiven, and so are you. Yes, YOU!
So join with me today to celebrate Papa's love. Old things have passed away and behold all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17b). I am my beloved's, and He is mine (Song of Sol. 6:3a) His banner over me was love (Song of Sol. 2:4b)

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain!

“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."
Exodus 20:3
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain… This is the third commandment and I have heard this phrase quoted many times whenever someone would use the name of Jesus or God as an epithet or exclamation. The quoting of this verse in response to these actions never sat well with me, but I didn’t quite know why.

I came to the realization that taking this commandment to solely mean that one should not speak the name of The Lord as a swear word or exclamation would be reducing it to pettiness on God’s part. And He is NOT petty! I was then prompted to look up the meaning of “in vain” and when I did so, it was as if the penny dropped with regards to the meaning of this commandment!

In vain - Definition
Without success or a result.
Synonyms:
Unsuccessfully, without success, to no avail, to no purpose, fruitlessly

What I believe this commandment actually means is that we should not align ourselves with The Lord, and have no fruit, result, or success to show for it. It meant for the Israelites that they were to live worthy of being called The Lord’s people. It as it does today that we are not TO TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD WITHOUT EXERCISING THE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES THAT GO ALONG WITH THAT STATUS!

Time... A phenomenal entity, worthy of emulation...

It marches relentlessly, defining seasons, undaunted by disappointment, failure, mourning, joy, celebration and or victory.

It is relentless in its' pursuit of the future and in its' determination to shed the past almost as soon as it occurs, yet maximizes every tick of the tock... Time passes, yet no one other than the One who created it... passes it.

It has many forms of expression, but itself remains constant - Always to itself true...

It is elusive, yet too obvious to ignore; Creates shadows, yet heralds light.

It may seem to stand still appearing to accomplish nothing but the stretching of its’ passing, but may in actuality represent the winning of the race of a lifetime!

But, even more so to be emulated and sought after is the one who created it in its own time, for as sure as its beginning was, its end shall be, liberated into eternity, by He who said let there be, and it was  - The end of time before it all began...

least one person today (myself included) to not give up but hold on. Even when
the pain is unbearable, or your down to your last, just continue to stand and
God will work things out in due time.

After you've done all you can, just stand...

In Jesus' name - Abracadabra!

In Jesus Name! Is a phrase that resounds at the end of every prayer, pronouncement and declaration that is made by Christians worldwide. I asked the question, why do some pray in Jesus name and stuff happens and others pray and... What does praying in Jesus' name really mean? How should we pray in Jesus' name? Praying in Jesus’ (I believe) name does not mean that we merely have a passcode needed to solve a problem or enter into a program, Praying in the name of Jesus means praying as Jesus would have prayed, with His authority and backed by His power. Coming to the realization this fact gave me incredible insight as to why a lot of prayers are not answered! The reason may be that we often bring our petitions and prayers, like a person who has been given a credit card or debit card and then use Jesus’ name as a PIN to get cash (or in this case blessing) from the dispenser, and some us cash advances! But praying in Jesus name is not meant to place a child of God in the position of the one holding the debit card, it is meant to place him in the position of the CEO of the bank. One who administers, and has full cognizance about the workings and resources of his organization, and is in contact with and or knows the COO on such a personal basis that he knows what the COO (Jesus) would do in a given situation. He then speaks out, acts, administers and dispenses resources in His name i.e. on His behalf, backed by His authority and power.  Mark my words the PIN will work and resources will flow to the extent that has been determined, but the question I ask myself today is this… Am I content being Kingdom debit cardholder and PIN user? Certainly not! I, by His grace through the way made for me; want to step up to the plate as the CEO. I will act as the COO would, with the resources of the whole company at my disposal, having spent time and having been so trained by Him that He can trust me to ask (whatever He would ask, being and knowing the will of The Father) in His name, and so doing would back me up with His resources 110% in JESUS name, Amen!

I'm blessed and highly favored!

Sometimes favor may not at all look like favor... Favor may sometimes paradoxically seem like a nightmare of epic proportions! Picture this: A young girl is engaged to be married. She is going about quietly minding her business. Something happens, and this young lady suddenly has to tell her fiancé a stupendous story... I put myself in her shoes and I am sure I would be freaking out and asking myself is this what favor looks like?
I am a person of integrity
I see a vision (or hallucination some may say)
I make an unbelievably grandiose claim and state that I have been singled out for favor???
Favor brings to mind a picture of honor, riches, joy, plenty and abundance, not disgrace, scorn, pity and derision... Or does it? Hmm...
As you may have guessed, this is Mary's story and though we highly esteem her today, Her path must have been a pretty hard and rough one in the beginning, but God stood by His Word to her and Jesus Christ rose from the dead! So when we ask for God's favor on our lives we must ask ask ourselves "Can I really handle God's favor?", "can I really stand firm believing ALL that He has told me risking public scorn and disgrace?"
Hmmm how are you my brother/sister? Oh! I'm blessed and highly favored... Selah.

ZEITGEIST! - The 'spirit' of the times!

Zeitgeist : interesting word this is, meaning: ‘The spirit of the times’ - Zeitgeist is the general cultural, intellectual, ethical, spiritual, or political climate within a nation or even specific groups, along with the general ambiance, morals, sociocultural direction, and mood associated with an era. The sons of Issachar had Zeitgeist:

1 Chronicles 12:32

Of the sons of Issachar who had an understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;

The child of God who catches the zeitgeist of the times, can feel the pulse of the universe and the heart of God, feels the direction of the flow of the blood and the Spirit and can move in that flow… Thy are not afraid of it, neither do they distrust it, for the beat echoes in their hearts and the same blood flows through their veins…

Let your prayer, my prayer, our prayer today, be to catch the Zeitgeist of our times and seasons, and the heart of God for the ‘now season’. But he who will catch the Zeitgeist must be well acquainted with the originator of the spirit and must be able to discern the direction and dimensions of His breath…. The ‘Ruach'…

Oh how my heart yearns to catch the wave of His Spirit, for surely He is here, and I MUST know Him!

In Him, through Him, and by Him, I MUST catch the zeitgeist of my time, my kairos, my ‘now’ moment...

A child is not he who is merely born...

A child is not he who is merely born, but is he who indeed is birthed.

Being born is of an action, but the progression of birth is a process that spans the life breadth of conception, implantation, nesting, nurturing, protection, nourishing, growth and differentiation, preparation and equipping for the journey ahead.

Birth – Glimpse of the future filtered through the past, unsurpassed in its’ simplicity, yet compositely complex.

From Braxton Hicks to first twinge; Low backache to body clenching uterine spasms made only slightly more bearable variously outsourced through whimpers to screams not so silent…

Waters broken, passage constrained, resultantly bursting forth emitting and emoting, Pneuma! Imparted inspiration!!

Sleepless nights, midnight feeds, diaper changes, stinky poo…

Falling in love, loving to fall; first grazed knees, second witness to kiss stolen on darkened porch…

KG, HS, summa cum laude, ALL noteworthy in the Symphony of life's beats.

Hanging on, letting go, dreams fulfilled, visions deferred... Sobs and laughter, disappointments and appointments all swaddled tight in pure and unconditional love.

To describe entry into this realm as merely being born would be to commonize the most awe-inspiring of God given impartations – the ability to reproduce after one's kind… For a child is not merely he who is born into the world, but is of certainty he who is birthed into his destiny - I was birthed...

The simpler the question God asks us, the more it calls out to who fundamentally are, and the more difficult it is to tell the truth about who we really are, because a soul separated from God at best dislikes, and at worst, hates its' own self... But confront the truth we must, for therein lies our only hope for salvation...

May the mountains that seem to loom before us serve not to undermine or overwhelm us, but provide  terrain for us to climb higher... Though the journey may be turbulent and seem unending, that when we reach the vantage point, we realize that the mountain was Sovereignly placed that height may be attained, oversight achieved and vision perceived to equip for the journey still yet ahead... Join us in Ontario Canada for an awesome
time in God's presence at The Redemption House Wholesome Woman Conference…

Friday, June 27, 2014

We all have our strengths and weaknesses so that with our strength we can stand and help another and that in our times of weakness others stand to support us... By so doing, we retain the realization that we should not think more highly of ourselves that we ought to...

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.

'Three' With The 'Fourth'; 'Fourth' With The 'Three'

Can you see them?
There! Right in the midst of the flames.
Cast in by men who never lived to tell the tale,
Burnt to ashes even as they rained curses
Damning the condemned.
As they, the not condemned, were damned.
Their master must, they had to obey
This command they could not deny:

The three displaced in body, not in soul,
The names conferred – ** Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego
In aim to basterdize, demean, destroy.
Total annihilation of every vestige of faith,
Every remnant of hope,
But ** Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, stood strong,
Together the three as one,
Refusing to bow.

Securely bound, summarily shackled,
No means of escape (or was so thought).
Sundry eyes fixed on the gruesome sight
Pathos, tragedy and desolation,
Surely brought on by the very obedience
That compelled their souls.
The ones who succumbed standing by
By horror transfixed,
But still THEY refused to bow.

Freedom had Jehovah promised,
Heart, soul, body and mind.
Reverse divinity, through heavenly trinity
Of the tribe of Judah,
** Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah - The three
Roaring Lion of the tribe of Judah arising,
Father, Spirit, The Son in the "Fourth" man
The Divine in liberty, with flesh in captivity
Liberated from the scourge of fire in Serenity

Can you see them shackles broken!
Now they walk free!
In the midst of the fire,
Through mystical conversation;
Holy communion, conferred through covenant.
Chaldean circumcision their hearts had rejected
Which by carnal satisfaction,
Would have, their souls bound in captivity.
But by circumcision of fleshly hearts, their spirits soar...
Freed... Their bonds broken,
Passivity violently rejected.

In the carnal fire, present HE is
So even as set to be consumed,
We are not ignited.
By HIS Spirit’s fire lifted we are,
Ignited with passion, but certainly not consumed!
The ONE corporeally with the three
In the physical fire,
The three intangibly with The “Three in One”
Through Spiritual fire.
Our “three” with the “Fourth”,
The “Fourth” with our “three”.

When all else becomes ashes,
To His own He gives beauty.
And where bodies would have laid anointed with oil for burial,
The cruz of oil now flows continually to sustain LIFE!
Instead of emptiness filling dried skeleton and skull
Fullness of the Godhead bodily dwelling in living souls!
That the fire from without not devour,
As the fire from within, baptizes to empower;
The fourth walking freely with the three,
The three, set free in the fourth.

Now The Lord is that Spirit,
And where HE is, there is liberty.
That we, when stumped by limitation,
Bound by time and physicality, turn to The Lord,
He sweeps away the veil between time and eternity.
That we, who are in the fire without,
Are liberated into the hope of glory,
By the fire burning within,
From 'Outside of time' into time,
LIFE UNTO LIFE  eternal!

Amen.

 ** Etymology of the names:

Hananiah means "God who is gracious" – God’s grace - CHRIST
Misha'el means "Who is like God?”, - GOD THE FATHER

Azariah means "God has helped" – God’s help – THE SPIRIT

    Shadrach
possibly is derived from Shudur Aku "Command of the moon god" – Contrast COMMAND to GRACE

Meshach is probably a variation of Mi•sha•aku, meaning "Who is what Aku is?", and may have been an alteration of his Hebrew name Mishael – Contrast IDOL to LIVING GOD!

Abednego is either a corrupted or deliberate use of Abednebo, "servant of Nebo/Nabu," or Abednergo, a variation of Abednergal, "servant of the god Nergal – Contrast SERVANT to HELPER

THIS IS WHAT THE “THREE”(Father, Son and Holy Ghost) IN THE FOURTH MAN HAS BROUGHT: BY THE “FOURTH”(Jesus) in our “THREE” - Body: Liberated by walking with the “Fourth man”,  Mind: Set free by talking with the “Fourth man”, and Spirit: Ignited but not consumed by the fire of “Fourth man” – Halleluyah for Pentecost!

Faith is the spigot that determines the rate of the release of God’s blessings… Much like a water system, the water is there and waiting to be released, but if the spigot is not activated, water cannot flow. It remains held and contained within the system…. Not so, when faith enters in… It releases the flow of God’s Power and His Blessings Halleluyah!

Mark 11:22-24
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Guts birthed by Grace.

Going through a process, someone recently referred to me as being a person with great 'intestinal fortitude'... In essence, he thought that I had 'guts'... Hmm, I looked back at my self through this process and all I remember was me blubbering and spilling out 'my guts' to The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost, all I remember were the "Father help me" cries pouring out of my soul in prayer and supplication... Intestinal fortitude? Maybe... Strength made perfect in weakness? Mos' definitely!

◄ 2 Corinthians 12:9 ►
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me...

This Is How We Do It!

Principearls - This is how we do it!
This week's episode is sure to set your feet dancing ...

Lord please help our generation of believers to realize and walk in the realization that salvation comes only through meeting Jesus and following Him and not through going to church and following the traditions of singing, liturgy and congregation membership... It used to be that people asked if you had accepted Jesus to be your Lord and savior, now it's about which 'church' you attend.... Witnessing used to be everyone's commission (Oh the days of bus preaching...) now it's about inviting people to 'church' by handing out cute invitation cards to come in on Sunday, so that they can get to hear the 'powerful' preacher and the Goosebumps inducing songs and confusing tongues, it's now more of a "come so that we can solve your problems", rather than "come so that you can get to know God and cause problems for the devil"... My fellow BELIEVERS it is time to retrace the ancient landmarks, where the ultimate was getting to know Jehovah, and not getting 'plugged in' to a local assembly line of parrotters... WE are THE CHURCH! We are His body, WE ALL have been called to go into the world to preach THE GOSPEL, not (I will shock you now) to feed the poor, or build church buildings, but to HEAL THE SICK, RAISE THE DEAD AND PREACH "The Kingdom of God is at hand!" but friend to do this you must first ask? What is the Kingdom of God for he who does not know and fully understand what he believes, how can he show and tell of it to another... Hmmm Food for thought this weekend as we retire from the workweek to rest... God bless us all! And for you out there who do not know Jesus or know of His Kingdom, I invite you today to come know the eternal King who left His eternal Kingdom because of His love for mankind, so that through believing and having a personal relationship with Him we can come into HIS ETERNAL Kingdom and thus not perish as all things in this present world will, but have ETERNAL LIFE, qualitatively and quantitatively... He came that we may have LIFE and that more abundantly!
THIS is the heartbeat of my God!

'Biter' or a 'Ruminator'?

Are you a 'Biter' or a 'Ruminator'?

Who is a biter? A biter is one who (in this context), takes an excerpt or fragment from something larger leaving the majority of the substance behind, and in the same vein of setting a ruminator is someone who turns a matter over and over in the mind usually to reach a decision that will produce results.

This question posed came to mind a few months ago and got me thinking about my ’Word life.' I have been a Pentecostal Christian for a few years now, but recently the Lord began bringing it to my attention that although I heard and regurgitated a lot of bible verses and promises I had heard from pastors, teachers, etc. Over the years, I have been for most of my Christian life, a biter and not a ruminator. What do I mean by this?   Well, let’s take a little walk down the hall of faith…

You’ve got to hold on...

‘You’ve got to hold on’

Sometimes it’s hard
When you can’t see the end in sight
But you keep on telling yourself
‘You’ve got to hold on’

Sometimes …
Even when you have all the answers
Still nothing seems to add up
You keep telling yourself
‘You’ve got to hold on’

When friends have gone,
And silence reigns
The rustle of the leaves
The whisper of the wind
Softly echoes the refrain
‘Child You’ve got to hold on’

By the skin of your teeth,
By the seat of your pants
Through stormy gale,
And fiery furnace
I am with you...
So yes! ‘You’ve got to hold on’

‘Cos when all’s said and done
The curtain’s been drawn
When the night has passed
And the tears have dried
I promise you this my child
I promise you that you will look back
Down the passage of time
And the words, the encore
That will resonate in your heart:
Thank God the one who said to my soul
Don’t give up; don’t give in;
You’ve got to hold on’

If you are holding on, don’t give up!
If you are hoping, don’t give up hope!
If you are believing, don’t give up believing!
For your weeping may endure for a night
But in the morning, joy will come,
Again I say, ‘You’ve got to hold on…’

Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
