A Word To Live By -- Mustard Seed Faith or Mustard Size Faith?

◄ Luke 17:6 ►

King James Bible
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
He said to them, "If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you may say to this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea', and it would obey you."

seed
/sēd/
Noun
A flowering plant's unit of reproduction, capable of developing into another such plant.

Matthew 13:31
[ The Parable of the Mustard Seed ] Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field

If one had faith as a mustard seed, planted it, and saw it and grow and grow after being planted, one would see that all things are possible, if it was possible to grow such a big tree from such a small seed, which in turn could produce faith that would give one the boldness to look at an even bigger object and move it, using the same principle...

God's Blessings always,
Mettabel.
