If someone despises what you do, how do you feel?
If you don't like what somebody does, what you say?
If someone criticizes your choices, how do you feel?
If you feel someone has not made the right choices, what do you say?
If someone just dislikes you without cause, how do you feel?
If you do not like that person just "because", what do you say?
Don't go there!… You feel good, yet I can't say whatever I want?
Don't talk to me and everything will all be fine, yet I don't have any friends?
Put on some shoes and start walking.... And if you have not walked a mile don't start talking…
And when you do, make darned sure you my friend, have something good to say,
Because it ain't only about what you say, it's about where it's coming from, and how you say it...
It's all about being in that space:
It's all about love, Joy, peace, long-suffering temperance, brotherly kindness, gentleness.... It's all about them things called 'The fruits of the spirit'....
It's all about what you say, to whom you say it,
It's all about knowing where your words are coming from.
It's all about discerning what's in your heart,
It's all about truth in the inward parts.
It's all about knowing that you got your space, and I got mine, all about knowing that the world is a darned big place and that there is enough room for you and I...
It's all about love it's all about righteousness...
It's all about peace and joy in the Holy Ghost...
It's all about loving the other as yourself,
It's about knowing that whatever you say, however you say it; its effects will last forever...
And finally it's all about knowing that you don't hold the keys to death and hell, neither are you the custodian of the gates of heaven, deciding who gets to go in, and who does not...
'Cos someone else paid the price and He gets to judge,
And even though you may look like it, act like it, and talk like it,
Honey.... that person just ain't you...
