Ecclesiastes 1:2
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
The descent from our original estate of ‘God-reflectedness’ to the plateau of ‘self-reflectedness’ through sin, resulted in man becoming subject to futility.
Romans 8:20
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;
... But through our rebirth, we become free again to be ‘God-reflective’ being again liberated into life eternal, by He who had subjected the whole of creation in hope, so that that which was, can now be, and that which is to come would reflect what already has been, i.e. Man created in God’s image and after His likeness.
Ecclesiastes 3:15
That which hath been is now, and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
This is the deep calling to the deep – A call to arise and shine as we once shone in the first Adam so that we may become what we already were in, and through the second Adam, by the power that raised Him from the dead, and to who in the fullness of time, His bride shall be presented, He again saying: This is now flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone; and she shall be called a name that only she and I will know…
Revelation 19:7 - Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Revelation 22:4
And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads.
1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
Ecclesiastes 3:15
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Hmmm… And God requireth that which is past - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:7
