I am a virtuous woman... Can you handle me?

A friend and I had a conversation one day, and at the end of the conversation, we arrived at the conclusion that though many a men pray for a virtuous woman (i.e. a virtuous wife), many cannot handle such a woman. Such men pray, and when God then presents her to them. Many destroy such a woman’s will by decreeing that they are not submissive, not humble, or declaring that they are not fulfilling their God-given roles, and go ahead to use all that is in their power to break such a woman's spirit and make her ‘submissive’.

I had actually subscribed to this teaching about who a virtuous woman was for many years until the Lord showed me that this teaching is as far from the truth as the east is from the west.

When we study the Scriptures, and study them in context, we will find that sometimes what has been taught is not in its entirety, what the scripture is actually stating, “case in point ‘‘ what the scriptures, states about ‘The virtuous woman’...

It is true...

It is true that you constantly use and abuse.
It is true that your words to me are sometimes aimed to amuse and confuse
It is true that every time and everything I give, you disdain and count as dung,
It is true that in your eyes, I am nothing but a well-worn avenue,
For your feet’s traverse to destination 'your will'.

It is also true that many a time,
I have considered leaving you to flounder and drown
It is true that I have agonized over decisions to concede,
And forgive, time and yet time again.
It is true that blood has boiled within my veins,
My hands bound, rendered impotent to allow harm,
Even so by the cords of love that still restrain.

So why is it not true for you to suppose
That I am weak and spineless?
Why is it not true for you to summarily conclude,
Upon my apparent blindness and seemingly blatant stupidity.

Could it be because of the rivers of compassion?
And love that still flow from the heart of one that though hurt,
Realizes that it too was so forgiven?
Could it be because of the enduring truth of faith, of hope, and of love?

Faith… That although at this time, you're so hopelessly blind,
Someday your eyes will open and you will see the light?

Hope… That the tears (sometimes violently angry)
That I have shed because of you and many more for the things you have done,
Would someday cease, morning breaking through with the sun’s healing rays,
To mend the broken pieces left behind?

Love… Once stranger to me,
Bought and brought by the Sovereign one who rules over my heart and soul?
The one to whom I cannot but say-
“Not my will but yours be done”?

The one who has opened my heart
To see the impossible as possible, the unseen.
Opened my heart
To love the unlovably unlovely.

Through cries loosed from my tongue ~
An outpouring of pleading for grace?
Rivers of supplication for that one
For whom if it had not been poured,
The end result, dastardly doom?

Yes! It is the truth that I concede,
But this, I do, by the strength that rises up within me, and I say I do.
The power that propels me, that urges me on,
Despite the inner jeers and taunts, the spittle, the painful thrusts.

Graced to walk, as he would have walked,
Head unbowed by grief,
With Hands lifted high saying:
“Father forgive, for they know not what they do”.

“Princi-pearls” – Principles that adorn the mind, beautify the soul, and ignite the spirit:

That a voice will get heard is neither dependent on how powerful that voice is, nor is guaranteed based on what a person has to offer in terms of gifting, knowledge, talent, or ability, but more on the fact that a platform has been created, or made accessible to that individual, or for that one who stubbornly refuses to give up and go home, have gone right ahead and constructed one, to ensure that his voice is heard! Any way you cut it, you have to have a platform, (be it on a street corner, or on the presidential podium) to be heard...Therefore, it is wiser for one to pray that a platform be made available for one's gifting, rather than clamoring for the acquisition of yet more knowledge!

This same BREATH... by Mettabel Okulaja

This same BREATH...

The Spirit of God- He is the breath, the‘Pneuma’ and the ‘Ruach’ of God.
He quickened The Lord Jesus Christ and raised him from the grave translating him from mortality to immortality, from corruptible and death to incorruptible and life everlasting! The grave, the horrifically marked body of the Lord, demons, soldiers, and even hell could not escape, nor go beyond the reach of the ‘breath’ of the Lord… Whoosh!!!

This breath… The same breath God breathed into us, when we became his children; this same breath is the one that animates us;This same breath is the one who gives power beyond our mortal existence.
The wind blows and no one knows from whence it comes, or where it goes, but we all feel its effect.  So is the Spirit of God! He reaches below, above, across, as high as, as deep as, any situation, any circumstance, any deadness, any hopelessness… His breath is everywhere and couldn’t reach anyone…He raises from death; He restores from stripes and beatings, He heals from disease; He redeems from poverty… This same Spirit… He clothes from nakedness and he lets them the depths of despair to the excellence of the halls of hope the night in rapturous wonder!

THIS SAME SPIRIT… He brings to our remembrance all things that the Lord has told us, He leads us into all present truth, He tells us of things to come… How then can we worry, how can we then live in doubt and fear, how then can we live wondering what is to become of us?  This same breath… for scripture says in Him we live, moves, and have our being -- This same breath!

There is no place you are right now that the Breath of God cannot reach you. There is no situation of deadness that He cannot resurrect. There is no height too high for Him to lift you up to!
He came on the day of Pentecost because he was sent to us; He came and since then he has dwelt here! In us!!! He has never left us and will NEVER leave us as long as we honor him… How do we honor him?By acknowledging his presence, by speaking the word of God without which he cannot move or work in our lives!

He is here! Jesus sent Him to us!! He came to dwell in us!!!

His power to save, to, deliver, and to set free both in life now and in eternity is here, but he needs us to die to the world so that we may live in Christ… He needs for us to have Emanuel in us, and with us that He may have that with which He may quicken us with so that we can be raised to life!
For to be raised to reign, we must lift up the gates of our hearts so that the King of Glory may come in… Who is this king of glory!? Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in... Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory… Jesus He is the King of Glory! He is the way! He is the truth! He is the life! No man comes to the Father but by Him. But... in the same way that newborns register their presence to dwell in the kingdom of this world, by the inspiration of breath, the same way the Spirit waits for us to register our presence by the inspiration of‘Ruach’ to dwell and abide in the Kingdom of God! Whoosh!!!...

So that He, The Spirit who broods when the Word is spoken… may now with great power ACT… And there was!!!!

This same BREATH... Selah

A Word To Live By - Heart Transplant? Anyone??

Psalm 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

RIB
(From the Bible encyclopedia)

(tsela`, tsal`ah; Aramaic `ala`): The Hebrew words designate the "side," "flank," thence the "ribs." They are found thus translated only in connection with the creation of Eve: "He (Yahweh) took one of his (Adam's) ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof: and the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, made he (margin "builded he into") a woman" (Gen 2:21,22). The Aramaic word is only found in Dan 7:5.
Twice the Revised Version (British and American) uses the word "rib" in a figurative sense of two beams or rafters built in to the ark of the covenant and the altar of incense, on which the golden rings were fastened, which served to carry ark and altar by means of staves (Ex 30:4; 37:27).

The KJV Old Testament Hebrew Lexicon

Strong's Number: 06763

Word Origin
From (06760)
Transliterated Word
Tsela`
Phonetic Spelling
tsay-law'

Definition:
1. side, rib, beam

a. rib (of man)
b. rib (of hill, ridge, etc)
c. side-chambers or cells (of temple structure)
d. rib, plank, board (of cedar or fir)
e. leaves (of door)
f. side (of ark)

Aortic arches:

Arches 1 and 2
The first and second arches disappear early, but the dorsal end of the second gives origin to the stapedial artery, a vessel which atrophies in humans but persists in some mammals.

Arch 3
The third aortic arch constitutes the commencement of the internal carotid artery, and is therefore named the carotid arch.

Arch 4
The fourth right arch forms the right subclavian as far as the origin of its internal mammary branch; after which it becomes RUDIMENTARY

The fourth left arch constitutes the arch of the aorta between the origin of the left carotid artery and the termination of the ductus arteriosus.

Arch 5
The fifth arch disappears on both sides.

Arch 6
The proximal part of the sixth right arch persists as the proximal part of the right pulmonary artery while the distal section degenerates; The sixth left arch gives off the left pulmonary artery and forms the ductus arteriosus; this duct remains pervious during the whole of fetal life, but then closes within the first few days after birth due to increased O2 concentration. His showed that in the early embryo the right and left arches each gives a branch to the lungs, but that later both pulmonary arteries take origin from the left arch.

The Heart
Melvyn Bragg and guests discuss the heart. Aristotle considered the heart to be the seat of thought, reason and emotion. The Roman physician Galen located the seat of the passions in the liver, the seat of reason in the brain, and considered the heart to be the seat of the emotions. It was not until the 17th century that the physician William Harvey wrote in the preface to his thesis On the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals, a letter addressed to King Charles I. 'The heart of animals is the foundation of their life, the sovereign of everything within them...from which all power proceeds. The King, in like manner, is the foundation of his kingdom, the sun of the world around him, the heart of the republic, the foundation whence all power, all grace doth flow'.
Harvey was probably wise to address the King in this manner, for what he laid out in his groundbreaking text challenged scientific wisdom that had gone unquestioned for centuries about the true function of the heart. Organs had been seen in a hierarchical structure with the heart as the pinnacle. But Harvey transformed the metaphor into something quite different: the heart as a mechanistic pumping device.
How had the Ancient Greeks and Islamic physicians understood the heart? What role did the bodily humours play in this understanding? Why has the heart always been seen as the seat of emotion and passion? And why was it that despite Harvey's discoveries about the heart and its function, this had limited implications for medical therapy and advancement?

Naked people are always afraid!

Genesis 3:10
So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

Proverbs 28:1
The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.

Ephesians 6:12-18
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Elements of our ‘Divine duds’

• Girdle of Truth
• Breastplate of Righteousness
• Gospel of Peace footwear
• Shield of Faith
• Helmet of Salvation
• Sword of the Spirit
• Perpetual prayer

These pieces of armor are not physical, as we know from scripture. David tried on physical armor, but took it off, and what did he come out against Goliath with, were his spiritual armor and his WORDS…
